Can Salvation Be Lost?
I have wondered this many times, but this last Sunday we read 1 John 2:19 and from that text, the answer is no-if someone walks away from God, they never were true followers of Christ.
"They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us."
That makes sense to me. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it isn't always a duck…
